Awarded in architectural competition by Tokyo Society of Architects and Building Engineers. We planned a daycare center in the old area of Asakusa in Tokyo. Though being a conventional neighborhood, it is the old town of Tokyo and has a special and intimate atmosphere. There is however only a few public spaces. We proposed a daycare center to enhance the feeling of community in this area.
